I've always had a bit of a thing for pink hair. Not so much the whole dip-dye thing because I'm not exactly hipster-cool so I don't think I'd be able to pull it off anyway. Having said that though, I have always loved the streaky blonde thing that Rachel McAdams had going on back in 2007. I do also like a bit of the whole pink-rise thing - like the blue-rinse that so many stylish elderly women rock. As we all know, the lovely
Charlotte Free is currently the "pink-haired badass" of catwalk but as we can see (above), Kate Moss rocked the look long ago.
I re-watched Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette - for about the billionth time - the other day and it awoke my love of pink hair. I had sort of repressed it since you can no long walk down Shop St. without catching a glimpse of some dip-dyed locks. Now though I am doing a bit of investigating into maybe embracing pink hair a la Kelly Osbourne, circa 2010, or Ellie Goulding (below).
