blogs that i love

Here is just a little list - in no particular order - of blogs that I adore...

I discovered this blog not so long ago and I have to say that I love it. There are a lot of blogs online that have plus-size girls doing outfit posts and I have to say that a lot of them are done entirely without style or poise. There are about five gazillion outfit post style blogs out there and being a plus size girl no longer sets you apart from all of that as a huge percentage of those five gazillion blogs are exactly that. Nadia Aboulhosn is simply fabulous and you will be hard-pushed to find a more stylish blogger on the scene right now. Check her out now.

Sian O'Carroll is the teeny tiny Irish girl who is so cute and adorable that you literally want to put her in your pocket. There is a fine line between creating a stylish blog and posting endless photos of oneself and Miss O'Carroll strikes that balance perfectly. Just two or three high quality photographs, tops five, and then an simple informed description of the outfit/event/photo. I have been following her blog for close to two years now and the transformation that she has undergone is unreal. She went from being a run-of-the-mill stylish girl to a girl with her very own style and this fact has not gone unnoticed by the fashionable public of Ireland. With the wardrobe elements of a seven year old boy and the tattoo collection of a veteran rocker, Sian is like no blogger that you have seen before.

3. thestylerookie.com
HERE is post that I did about the fantastic Tavi Gevinson back in November that will explain perfectly why Tavi is on this list.

I love this blog so much. Her outfit posts are not like average outfit posts. The pictures are of a much higher quality than most and she is basically fabulous.

5. coupde.foudre.co
This is a great blog because it's not about words or anything, it is just all about magazine editorials and it has opened me up to so many new magazines that I did not even know existed. It posted a mixture of old and new editorials and you could spend hours going through the amazingness of it all. For example this one below from L'Officiel, November 2002.

This budding Irish photography is quite fantastic.

20 year old Kate is the queen of DIY. She also has a large Mucha-style tattoo on her upper arm of which I am quite jealous. She made this jacket in the picture blog. She makes shirts, dresses and jackets - a number of which I have said I will attempt myself but alas I have yet to do so.

For some strange photography from someone who is clearly a mad fan of the mirror effect, check out Frou Frouu.

(all photos were taken fro their respective blogs)

Cheers for reading,

Jane
